Winnie the Pooh in theatres

Marielle had been asking about Tigger and Pooh, and I didn’t really know why. Then I noticed the commercials for it on tv and I guess she picked it up there because we don’t have any Pooh books or movies. Since she is now 3 and familiar with movies, I thought it would be a good time to introduce her to the theatre. My sister was available to watch Aliza, so off to the movies we went, for a girls only date!

I know – you don’t have to tell me. I am totally the crazy picture taking mom, but I can’t help it. I feel compelled to take pictures of EVERYTHING all the time. I like the pictures to tell the whole story so I can really document it and remember it. Anyway, she did great in the movie! We ate popcorn and I brought some M & M’s for her. She loved the eating popcorn part and tells everyone about it. It’s too cute! I think we’ll be going back to the movies soon!!

Louisiana "Snow" day and Fried Green Tomato BLT's

We were supposed to be on a plane to Copper Mountain today, but mother nature had other plans for the Gary's this Mardi Gras. We had our trip all ready, clothes borrowed and packed up, and the dog was taken care of. Then a blizzard started to make its way across the south. Our flights kept getting changed, then canceled. Instead of losing days of our vacation trying to make it there, we postponed the entire week to Easter week. So, we are now stuck at home on a very cold, snowy/rainy day. I felt a little nostalgic and got out my camera for some non-work photography! I hadn't used my camera just for fun in a while and need to get it and myself out of work-mode. Here is what it looks like outside today! Marielle and I went out there together so she could jump on the trampoline while it was full of ice!  I took some more a few hours later. Marielle and her Nanny Ally

A few weeks ago, Marielle spent the night at my sisters house (her Nanny Ally). This video is from breakfast the morning after the sleepover. I have watched it over and over and I cannot stop laughing. It is 1:18 long, but if you have the time, it’s hilarious!! We gotta say Father Son! from kasey gary on Vimeo . Can you tell we say grace before every meal? and after the prayer she hears Allison’s dog, Sammy, bark outside and she gets a little scared. Priceless!!
