Not too bad for my first time, right??!!! It didn’t stay very long before I had to redo it. I blame that on her though – she plays hard!! This is what she does sometimes when she’s up early and I’m not ready yet. She sits on my counter, makes funny faces at herself and plays with everything she can get her hands on. And now she sometimes gets her hair braided, if she’s in the mood. Peace out!!

Sometimes Jon gets to come home for lunch. I love those days, he usually has some fun idea for lunch and the girls love to see him one more time during the day. Today was Valentine’s Day and Jon was able to come meet us for lunch. It was a beautiful day and he suggested we have a picnic outside by the pool. I made sandwiches and we made our way outside. Marielle “needed” the sunglasses since it was so bright outside. She left them on for about 20 seconds… This set up didn’t last long. Not a good idea; these kids do not know how to eat like civilized people quite yet. Aliza sat on Jon’s lap for a little bit and Marielle sat on the ground. That is Marielle’s 2nd year to wear that Valentine’s Day outfit – and it’s from a consignment store. That was a good deal and we’ll still have time for Aliza to wear it – maybe twice!! I missed Day 7 because it was called “generations” and I had nothing to submit. Today I fixed that, but with my iPhone. The picture is not of good quality and we aren’t even facing the light source. This is my grandmother, my mom, me and Aliza at my grandmothers new Assisted Living place, Sunrise. It is really nice and I think (hope) she’s going to be really happy there. They have a specific area with kids toys and a sitting area so you feel welcome to bring kids to visit. All of the staff knew my mom and grandma by name. She’s only been there a week. I think she’s gonna like it. Then, today’s assignment was “gift from the heart”. I was stumped. I didn’t want to just take a picture of my kids and say that my husband has given me the best gift ever – my 2 kids. I was looking for something a little more creative. I was just looking through my picture file and noticed that there are a lot of cute pictures from January and February that I have not posted.
